Matt Thierer

We are sad to announce the passing of our good friend and colleague, Matt Thierer. Matt's gentle manner and kindness will be missed by all who knew him, not only at Valley View Farms, where he has worked since 2001, but also by all those whose lives he touched throughout the garden industry.

Matt had been in the business most of his life. With a degree in physics and engineering, Matt's tech skills and 'Macgyver' tendencies had him creating displays and managing many of the complex technological components that came with managing a business of Valley View's size. He enjoyed working with a diverse group of people and took pleasure in all aspects of his multi-faceted job, whether helping customers achieve success in their gardens or scaring the daylights out of them in the Halloween Haunted Tunnel.

The entire Valley View Farms family shares in the grief of Matt's passing along with the Thierer family. Our deepest condolences to Denise, Matt's wife, and his children, Chris, Tim and Julie, and the rest of the Thierer family.
