Beginning March thru June and again in August-September for fall harvest, most of our annuals are grown in our own farm greenhouses in nearby Hydes, MD. Colorful hanging baskets and unique container gardens are here for every season. As spring transitions to summer and then fall, our annuals change with the season. Mums and pansies take over our benches in the fall with glorious autumn color. Once the holidays arrive, our flowering plants dominate the greenhouse with our own poinsettias, cyclamen, amaryllis, and other holiday favorites.

John Miller Head Grower at Farm and greenhouse
We GROW MOST OF OUR ANNUALS AT OUR FARM
Our farm greenhouses grow beautiful flowers, including the area's best selection of hanging baskets. Our head grower, John Miller, starts growing in late January to have healthy flower and vegetable plants available from March to the end of the year. Many of our plants, including annuals, hanging baskets and vegetables, are grown in our own greenhouses at the Foard family farm in Hydes, MD. We are lucky to have a facility and dedicated growers working year round to bring great plants to our store.
"Growing our own" is just one of the many ways we strive to offer the best plants for area gardeners.
